Sponsorship
The Lancaster Amateur Sports Program is a non-profit corporation formed with the intent to help facilitate training, development, and support of youth and young adult amateur sporting and performance teams. The team for which we are seeking sponsorship is the Lancaster Independent Winter Guard. This unit performs in local, regional, and national competitions against competitors from all over the United States, Canada, Japan, and Western Europe. The guard consists of teens and young adults between the ages of 14 and 22 and serves the Western New York area. Members are expected to maintain high performance academically and many hold part times jobs as well.
Competitive indoor winter color guard is a sport that combines athleticism with art. In competitions, winter guards are judged in the areas of movement technique, equipment technique and performance. Routines incorporate equipment such as flags, rifles and sabres as well as movement and choreography. Guard members train in movement and spinning fundamentals, endurance, and performance. In addition to physical skills, the members learn to strive for excellence, work as a team, overcome adversity, work under pressure, and exhibit sportsmanship. These skills stay with members for life.
We, the Lancaster Amateur Sports Program Inc., are seeking sponsors to help support the groups we fund. While we work hard to raise funds via parent and volunteer fundraising and membership dues, our budget is difficult to reach.​

Lancaster Independent Winter Guard will put in 225 hours of rehearsal hours from September – April to train, learn their program, and hone their skills. They will perform at 17 competitions and will travel 2700 miles.
Our budget covers insurance, competition registration fees, equipment, costumes, set design, training and development consultant fee’s, transportation and rehearsal facilities.
We are asking for your support to help us fund our competitive season.

Gold Level: For a donation of $500 - $1,999 we will publish your organization’s name as a sponsor on our group T-shirts

Platinum Level: For a donation of $2,000 - $4,999 we will publish your organization’s name as a sponsor on our group T-shirts, our website, and our show program

Diamond Level: For a donation of $5,000+ we will publish your organization’s name as a sponsor on our group T-shirts, our website, our show program and on our performance floor
If we receive sponsorship from your organization, your organization’s message will reach audiences of approximately 10,000 individuals across New York State, Southern Ontario, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Ohio.
We appreciate your consideration and hope that you will be able to assist us in meeting our goal of keeping youth engaged, off the streets and teaching valuable lessons that will last them a lifetime.
